i am in a dancing mood...

so my new kicky boots arrived today! and apparently i am an idiot. see, when i saw the pics online, i thought the soles made the zipper of the boot appear on the outside, not the inside which is most often the case with boots. so i figured, huh that can't be right, the zippers must be on the inside - zippers on the outside would be ludacris! so i see the boots today and think huh the soles still look backwards. no lightbulb goes off in my head yet. finally, once i try to put them on the wrong feet, i realize that yes, the zippers do go on the outside. steve madden was trying something new... ahh lightbulb on!

so posted is the outer shot of the boots. i didnt think i would like the zipper so visible being silver (not black like most boots) plus outside for everyone to see... but i actually think i do! it makes them a little more fun and different. most of the time i will probably wearing pants so it wont matter much, but for a night out they kind of have a fun motorcycle feel. although sometimes i convince myself i like something for the sheer fact that returning items online can be a pain so i will strut myself tonight for brian letting him be the final judge. i have to admit, he has great taste. seriously. not just "for a guy he has great taste" but in general he does. i think it even beats my own level of taste. he always picks out the best stuff in the store for me when i am shopping and does awesome when it comes to presents. kudos to brian!

so now that i have kicky boots and chugged a cherry coke, i am excited to go home and dance around while cooking. i have a feeling that when i get home to plug in my ipod, i am going to be in skank dance mode and pick songs like buttons from the pussycat dolls, sos from rihanna, and but your ass into from ice cube. plus my coworker found out i had never had little debbie snacks before so she bought me a few boxes of various kinds to try. (seriously - i have never had little debbie. where have i been the past two decades?!) so i have an awesome wednesday night in store: dancing and eating chocolate. yum!
